Soothee DIY Book Nook Kit with LED Lights (Twilight Library)

this kit looks fun to make. It is all made of wood and has easy to assemble laser cut pieces that push out. No need for any sharp tools to cut the pieces out. All wooden boards are labeled and have clear part numbers. The instruction booklet is in color and easy to follow. Some pieces are printed on both sides as shown in Pic 4 & 5. All tools needed are in the kit and they even give you some glue. Most pieces just snap together, but I like to add a little wood glue just to make sure they don't come apart years from now. It looks like the kit comes with LED strip lights. Its all pre-wired so for easy assembly. The light strips have double sided tape on them, so you just take of one side of the tape and stick where the instructions tell you to put it. I cant wait to make this kit.

A fun and cute project to do alone during inclement weather or with someone else. The instructions are well done with color photos. There were two places where I should have looked ahead, because I didn't get the pieces put together correctly. One was with the wiring all the wiring was supposed to be threaded through holes, but I am not sure how the wiring to the battery compartment is supposed to. So a star off for showing something that can't be done unless you cut one of the holes, which is what I did. The wiring is supposed to be tucked in at the top, but that is difficult to do and I think they could have added one more piece to cover the roof, where the wiring goes. Also, sometimes the pieces are hard to put together and I ended up scratching and ruining some of the finish. All in all, most of the pieces fit well and were pretty easy to put together. Maybe with more experience, one gets better. The material is of good quality and thick. While I did scratch some pieces, none of them broke. I needed a pair of my own tweezers to complete this project, but otherwise all tools are included. The lights and battery box is already put together. One just needs to screw on the battery box and tape on the light fixtures. The lights have an on/off switch in the back and it does take 2 AAA batteries. The tiny chair and table set, along with the cafe board, are a cute extra touch. This one is going on my espresso bar shelf.

Okay, I am officially obsessed with this little book nook! I bought this on a whim after a stressful week at work, and it was worth every single penny. Putting it together was so relaxing it's like meditation but you get a super cute little library at the end!

The instructions are super clear with color pictures, so I had no trouble figuring it out. All the pieces are pre-cut and just pop out. The best part? Turning on the LED lights for the first time. The warm yellow glow totally transforms it and makes it look so incredibly cozy and realistic. The tiny books with their textured spines, the little typewriter the details are just amazing. It now sits on my desk as my personal little escape. Highly, highly recommend for anyone who needs a creative and calming hobby!

This is undoubtedly one of the second nook kits I have ordered from this vendor.

I ordered the miniature nook kit which includes assembly instructions, glue, miniature screwdriver, screws, and built panels.

The panels are built of wood that interlocks fairly well and is very well labeled and identify as outlined in the manufacturer instruction booklet.

I have briefly began building this nook and felt reasonably confident that it could be completed in one day; however considering the wait timeframe for the glue to dry for some of the components has extended the total construction timeframe.

The smaller pieces requires some strong arming to interlock the various components and which makes one constructing this nook kit take considerably longer out of fear of damaging these pieces.

Overall, this nook kit provides enjoyment, offers a solid built and is very colorful and eye appealing.

Nice gift for those individuals that enjoy constructing nook kits, creating a family bonding activities etc.
