Putting this together was crazy fun and the final product is super cute. It was time consuming and detailed but I enjoyed every minute. I used regular super glue when needed and it worked just fine. There was the problem of a missing hole at the end, but it was in the back so it wasnt a huge deal. Overall I would absolute do one of these again.
Review for the kit: Overall this was a good kit. The final product is exactly as pictured and looks great on my bookshelf. The materials are generally high quality, and I appreciate that youre given extras for some of the more fragile pieces (although I didnt end up needing them as everything punched out easily). The lighting was easy to install and looks great. Some parts are fiddly - other reviewers mentioned the cauldron which I had trouble with as well - but everything worked in the end with some patience and good glue. Definitely recommend some good tweezers, theyre not technically essential but help a lot with the smaller pieces. The kit doesnt come with glue, but thats okay as I usually use my own gorilla glue anyway. My only real issue is that it requires so much gluing - more than a lot of other kits Ive done. Partially this is because there are a lot of small objects to glue, which I dont mind, but there are many larger pieces that easily could have had tabs but instead have to be glued in place. Some pieces that did have tabs also didnt feel like a tight fit, so I ended up securing those with glue as well. Still fun, just something to be aware of. Overall I would probably buy another one of these kits in the future.

Another amazing kit. I love these they are really easy and you get such satisfaction. They can easily be completed in an afternoon and all the materials are provided except AAA batteries for the lights. Get one (or 2!)

This set was AMAZING! Fantastic accurate cut pieces, super bright colors, SUPER DETAILED print, clear instructions, bright light... if you're on the fence - do it!
Fun to build! Did hurt the ends of my fingers with some of the smaller pieces. Took a few hours. Ill be buying more kits like this!

I didn't expect much, to be honest, as I've had a lot of disappointments lately in the quality of some Amazon finds... but this one hit it out of the park. The ONLY complaint I had was that the "ramen" bits were on sticker paper, which didn't make much sense to me. Maybe I was overthinking it, but folding the sticker paper resulted in weird bubbles where the paper separated, so I had to fold the sticker itself into an accordion, which I'm sure you can imagine was a "sticky situation" (lul). Overall though, it was super fun, satisfying to build, and as someone who learns visually, the photo instructions were MOST appreciated. Can't wait to buy more!!
This is a FANTASTIC set. I built it over 2 days, several hours each day. Instead of super glue I used gorilla clear grip (super strong but not as instant as super glue).
Everything is amazing EXCEPT for a few mistakes in the instructions. At one point it states a piece that I already used to be used again (obvious error) - i want to say this was the mantle to the fire place, one of the last items; but then near the end if starts asking for "F" pieces. There are no F pieces except for simple small rectangles to act as the base for all the books. Lots of missing "F" pieces that are indeed different letter models.
I loved putting this together. I still rated it 5 stars even 1 piece was missing so I couldn‘t build the chair, but other than that it was great.
Its so cute but it requires patience! I am re-ordering as I got too impatient and ended up breaking it. So take that into account.

My wife really likes it and it's been a good opportunity to work on it together.
Some of the proportions are pretty weird though. The light fixtures and fireplace are oddly huge compared to the rest of the items.
All in all it's a neat novelty.
This is a TON of work, but it was a lot of fun! Issues I had with it were: the instructions were not great, there were mislabeled pieces, the books were not all one size and some did not fit, and some of the walls were not cut properly so I had to do some major bending and razoring to make things fit. It ended up looking great, though!
This kit was very detailed and enjoyable. The only thing that made it a bit difficult was how the framing was put together. Once you start wiring the lighting you need to make sure you have the time to plow right through and assemble it all together. Otherwise the sections are just awkwardly strung together off to the side.
But truthfully that's really just my personal preference. I love the nook and I'm looking forward to creating more in the future.
I bought Starbond Multipurpose Medium glue as another reviewer recommended. Glad I did because the precision applicators that come with it were very useful. Other than that, I used scissors, a pair of regular tweezers, and a pair of long-handled bent tip tweezers to assemble. Pieces were all included, but I removed one star because the witch hat arrived broken (should have been bubble wrapped! I glued it because I didn’t want to return the kit for one item). This took me about ten hours to complete.
The cauldron: Lots of builders had trouble with this because the pieces are easy to break. I laid each oval side piece facedown then glued one end of a piece and put it in the slot. I then walked it onto the facedown side piece, curving it as I went, then slotted the other end of the rib into its place. This helped me avoid breaking the delicate side pieces. Hope that helps!
I included an image of the completed kit. Third photo: I added some plants and other items purchased separately. This was a lot of fun and looks great on my shelf. Recommended!
This is the first miniture I've done and it was somewhat challenging but fun! Step one for whatever reason is one of the two hardest steps. Putting the tiny yellow bead on top to make "lanterns". The second hardest part and the one that almost stopped me from finishing was the second floor. I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong and finally I looked up a video and realized that this piece either will fit together or not. After re-gluing and trying to fix it, I decided that the magical pharmacy needed a little flora and fauna and bought a mini plant instead. I also added in the extra books. Would definitely recommend for any crafter!
I love these so much, this is probably one of my favorite brands and I rarely have any issues with them. Only probably is, I keep buying more for my bookshelves when I don't have room. Other than that, definitely recommend.
All in all a fun little project. As some have noted, the instructions are not the best. The little door in the back that hold the battery is a joke as nothin stops it from opening the other direction, so it gets stuck inside. It did that to me one too many times and now the door is perfectly aligned inside my garbage can. The light are not as bright as expected either. I am rather curious to see how long they last. One thing is a must if buying this, get really good glue. I bought what I thought was a good clear drying glue for wood and paper, only to have parts fall off every time I move it. Avoid the frustration and buy quality glue and not Aleene's original clear tacky, and useless, glue.
Purchased for a gift. Person loved it but had to purchase additional glue and small tools to assembly the project properly.
Takes a lot of time, you do need to buy your own glue, and some of the instructions could have been better, but enjoyable regardless
